You feel that way because you LIKE JavaScript. There’s nothing wrong with liking JavaScript. There’s nothing wrong with liking something else. A lot of us just like statically typed languages. It’s one of the reason that Typescript has become so popular. So you throw in, webpack, babel, typescript…etc and what gets executed in the browser is soooo not the code that you wrote. It does work though. I think it just makes a lot of developers uneasy.
