You are conflating your experience with everyone's experience. I work with women who have jobs that pay enough from them to support themselves with out a man's assistance. I disagree with the argument that it's not fair to call women gold diggers because women, generally speaking, have no choice but to find a man to support them. In the US: Women statistically speaking make 80% of what men make, that includes women who work part time. Women make 99% of what men make when they pursue the same jobs. Your experience doesn't change those facts.
