Yes, agreed. It hasn't always been that way and I don't think it's all of them. I was brought up in a pretty conservatively Christian household. I don't consider myself a Christian and my differences with that religion are another story. I can say that members of my family do not believe in this weird subservient wife thingy. I can't image my mother putting up with any of this mess. My dad was officially considered head of household (remember...conservative). However, he did was heavily influenced by my mother, and deferred to her on many things. My father "disciplining" my mother was unthinkable. My point is this, be careful not to lump all Christians into the same bucket. (or any members of any religion for that matter)
