Yep, I agree with all of that. My original comment was that it's not as simple as men trying to manipulate and control women. I think it's become a defacto thing to demonize us and demand that we change. There's a dynamic that is fed by men and women that supports the current roles that are pervasive in society. Not only do men need to broaden their roles in the relationship, women need to adjust their expectations. We cannot continue to take on the role of primary provider and support gender equality at the same time.
