Thank you so much for that. I was having a “white fragility” moment when I read your post. It totally pulled me out of it. Instead, I can have a “so-called ally” moment:

We do not live in white land my friend. I can’t believe you even wrote that. Just for your information, there is obvious widespread oppression toward black people in America, take our criminal justice system for example. We have a president that normalizes hate speech and describes white supremacist hate groups as “good people”. The whole “if you don’t like it leave” comment is an act of oppression all by itself.
