What you are saying is typically true. However, that often creates a bias against men in divorce court, specifically around child custody and support. The kind of bias that assumes that men are incapable of child care. I will agree that a lot of men are just crying because they don't want to give support to the mother for their kids. Often these men have little interest in their children's lives. Because of this, it's much easier to get the courts to consider a man as an unfit parent. Sometimes this bias is used against men when negotiating for custody, support and division of assets. Men will often have to be willing to give up more than they should just to avoid a nasty custody battle. These men want to see their children. I believe this is a real thing.
