"We" (society) have been prioritizing women's safety since the dawn of time. Men have been protecting women since the dawn of time. Nobody talks about protecting men. Men are supposed to be able to protect themselves. Society believes if a man cannot protect himself, he deserves to die. Again, Google 'Women's Safety' and the Google 'Men's Safety' and observe the results.

Unfortunately, men have been assaulting the very women they are supposed to protect. Women are in more danger of domestic violence than violence from strangers. I agree with this. Women are in more danger of sexual assault them men.

But to say we need to protect women from homicide from strangers, more so than we need to protect men is not justifiable. Not when you look at statistics. If you're saying, "I don't care about the statistics, men's lives are not my concern", then just say that. You are not alone, that's why men die and no one cares.
