I'm not questioning why women complain about being raped, beaten and murdered. I cannot see where you got that from. I am questioning why we write so many articles that center on only on femicide when men are more likely to be homicide victims.
Two things are apparent from your response:
1. You believe that violence against men is different because men engage in risky behavior and that this is the cause of much violence towards men (like it's our own damned fault for being murdered). You give no facts to back up this assumption. This is victim blaming and misandrist. I think this is more of a reflection of your attitude towards men in general than reality. We are human and deserve equal consideration with respect to safety.
2. You seemed to be under the the impression that women should only be concerned with women's safety and men should only be concerned with men's safety. Why are you so resistant to the idea that we (men and women) should care about men's lives too? I don't think our concern about violence should be compartmentalized by gender.
