Totally agree. If it's just aesthetics, that wouldn't justify someone saying "I'm not attracted to <input race here> <input gender here>, so I won't date them". I do have racial preferences, but that just makes it easier to for me find women of that race attractive. There is no race that I can't find any examples of women that are attractive to me.

I do think people tend to date and marry in their own race, not because of racism (IMHO), but because it's the path of least resistance. As a white guy, I know that there is a lesser chance that a given black woman will find me attractive, and to be honest...visa versa. If I'm trying to date, I'm more likely to pursue women for whom I have the best chances of mutual attraction.
