This really makes me crazy. Women suffer from domestic abuse, domestic violence (including murder) and sexual assault way more them men. I totally get this. It's a problem.

General violence? No way. Men are 3 times as likely to be murdered. If a women is murdered once every three days, then a man is getting murdered every day. Why, why, why are women's lives more important than ours?

If we are really concerned about domestic violence, then we should frame it as such, instead of using general homicide statistics against women. Conflating domestic violence with general violence, which men suffer more of, gives me the impression that we don't care when men die at the hands of men, only women. (As if being a man somehow makes you complicit in your own murder)
