This is what I use a lot. Sometimes if I have s specific change that I'm trying to sell: "What do you think about doing this instead...?" I prepare myself for the developer to offer some criticism to my suggestion. They may even offer a third option. That's great, the purpose in code review, above all else, is to collaborate. More often then not, we'll end up sharing screens and having a discussion about it.
