This is overly generalized. True, women that are great leaders (passionate, driven and intelligent) can be intimidating to men. I don't think women like this are compatible with men who would try to compete with them. Men that are compatible with women like men who do not need the spotlight. Society is not kind to such men. But being partnered with such an enlightened individual would have its own merits.

There are also women that are not great leaders (same as men). It's possible that women can have toxically masculine traits that some men have (aggressive, dominating and temperamental). which could propel them into positions of leadership. These woman may complain that men can't handle them, which is probably at least partially true. There simply is just no upside for men in this case. Women who are partnered with such men do so for status. Men do not get to share the status of the woman he is partnered with. Men are only valued in society for what they achieve.
