This article seems a little one sided. It doesn't discuss the nature relationship of the "bullies" with the groom at all, except that they were his friends. What it they were life long friends of his? I would expect that my wife-to-be and my best friend could find a way to "bury the hatchet" so to speak. What was the nature of the bullying? Was it physical or emotional? How much of it was typical teasing and how malicious was the intent? Did they feel remorse. Were they willing to make amends? Is this not the most important day of his life as well?
