There's no justification for spewing toxic vitriol in the comment section and it is often a sign of personal problems, agreed. On the other hand, there is a lot of "Gender War" content on Medium that agitates this. I'm of course reading this out of context, but this statement, true as it might be, contributes to the Women=Good, Men=Bad narrative that is pervasive on Medium. It's possible that your original articles intention was to help women and men understand their differences. That would be different. However, given your recent divorce, I suspect that it was simply another criticism lobbed at the opposite gender. I'll have to find the article and read it.
