The topic of male violence and women's unpaid labor is a red herring. It has nothing to do with handing out free sanitary pads to all women regardless of income. As stated before, my problem with social welfare that isn't needs based is that is results in a transfer of wealth from the needy to the privileged. Why do we need to give women free products if they have the means to purchase them themselves. On the other hand, I don't understand why necessities are taxed as luxury items. That should stop.
