I am sympathetic to anyone who is mistreated in relationships. People who often suffer from abuse do so from a imbalance of power that make them vulnerable. I think gender equality can address much of this.

You're right, I didn't respond to the lack of non-monetary resources that you men bring (or don't bring) to relationships. The lack of intimacy, sex, communication, caretaking and empathy are underdeveloped in men because they aren't valued in men. I don't feel we shouldn't address that problem by expecting men to compensate for these failings by making more money and paying for things. To me, that is precisely what reinforces to traditional gender roles and ultimately contributes to gender inequality. Instead we should encourage young men to develop these skills by embracing their feminine traits.
