The far left will never "win". The far left only accomplishes their goals by moving the center. If we govern only be following the extreme views of the right or the left, then we are disenfranchising the majority of the nation. The purpose in the more extreme left or right is to sway social norms their direction and moving the center. If they achieve this, they become the center, and therefore will adopt more extreme views.

The left was very successful the last four years. They moved the center. It's precisely why the extreme right reacted so violently. Why not celebrate?
