I think what’s more important to realize is that there is already extreme misogyny, both in its obvious extremes and normalized versions. An example of extreme misogyny would be renting a van to run a bunch of people over in a vehicle, like some guy did in Toronto. The normalization factor is evident when a popular, highly influential man says BFD (big frickin’ deal, sarcastically), the kid was just angry at god because feminism took away his promise of having a wife by 20 years old and it was therefore justified.
