Nailed it. Been married for 20 years, and I 've just recently started to re-indulge in personal hobbies. For all that time, I didn't spend any money on myself. I was afraid it would divert resources from the wife and children. My wife never knew what to buy me for Christmas. She did try though. I have a bunch of Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy figurines at my desk at work. I don't like them that much, I just like the shows. And I appreciated her efforts and trying to find something. Now, I am an avid cyclist (like I was before I got married) and there are always things you can buy for cycling.
