This is only opinion and these are generalizations based on my understanding of social norms. I think a wife would be driven not to be divorce for the same reasonse...except #1 and #2 to a lesser degree.

#1. In the provider role, men usually feel personally responsible if the family struggles financially.

#2. Women usually end up with custody of the children. Either as sole custodians, primary custodians or shared custodians. Women are rarely kept from their children. It is important to some women to have their ex-husbands as co-parents. Others (when abuse is involved) would rather their ex-husbands send child support payments and get lost.
