My daughter was learning to write on her own at 3 (almost 4) years old (she's 15 now). She wrote my wife short note telling her how much she loved her. The handwriting was horrible, but legible -- she was only 3.

My wife was so moved by the note, she took it to a tattoo artist and had him replicate the note on her right calf. It's still there today. I love it. It's not trashy.
