In all due respect, the title of your article claims that the product manager/designers is the hardest job in tech. Not one of the hardest, the hardest. I do have a healthy respect for product managers/designers and their role in a software company. As a software architect, I work with our product management every day. I will say that the interfacing with the business part has it’s benefits. In my company, product management gets a lot of credit for product releases because of their visibility. In the end, software development is hard and it takes the entire team to make a good product. I would never put my job above anyone else’s: we all work very hard at making our software the best.
