I think there is something missing from this definition. Feminism seeks to achieve gender equality through the advocacy of women's rights. While feminists may genuinely care about men's issues, feminism does not. It is simply not about men. It doesn't have to be for me to support it. If I believe that there is a social issue that uniquely affects men, I don't think feminism will be the answer for that issue. I think men's right activism could be that movement, if it could separate from it's misogynist elements.
