I think men under 30 are more likely to be single because there are milestones (career, financial) that young men must clear before they are considered marriageable. Generally speaking, women do not face the same requirements. Young women don't necessarily seek men older than them. Young women seek men who satisfy those requirements, and men their age or younger typically do not.
