I think he does get it. In no way do I think Charles is justifying or minimizing what that guys was doing. He was wrong, plain and simple. The question he was asking is a valid and important one. Think about it for a minute, when you continued to make out with him, do you think you were averting danger, or inviting danger. I think it’s a good message to say, stop making out with the guy. I understand if you were flustered. I can’t even pretend to know what it’s like to be in that situation. However, you do have the ability to review your reaction and decide whether or not you thought you did the right thing. If you didn’t react the way you should have (not morally, for your own safety), why? Self awareness can be powerful.
