I see this sentiment posted a lot and I wonder if 'Nice' men actually operate like this. I can't think of a single guy I have ever known that expected sex for favors. I do know men that did favors for women to get their attention or to make a connection. In fact, I know women, who do nice things for men to get their attention. They seek companionship, which eventually may include sex. However, companionship is the goal. Maybe I'm being naïve, but I don't believe It's as transactional as you describe.
