I read the article to the end. It seemed heartfelt and genuine. This response, however, is pretty defensive.

Just as you have fears and resentment towards men, men have fear and resentment towards therapy. I have to wonder how productive therapy can be with this specter of mistrust looming over the entire session.

There’s a reason that men avoid counseling, and it’s not because they’re dumb. Men don’t feel heard or supported, for whatever reason. It seems systemic to me, and I would expect that you would know something about that. Instead, you get defensive and you lash out at me and R.H. for our comments.
