I love seeing articles from women that attempt to hold Feminism accountable to it's fundamental purpose: gender equality. It gives me hope that we don't live in an us vs them society and those of us that truly value you gender equality are out there. However, in this case I feel it's misguided. There is a focus on more female representation in business leadership in order to achieve equality. To promote male representation in business leadership would undermine the goal of equality and I think that's why you see would see the outrage.

An example of where I think the pendulum has swung the to far other way is general violence toward women. Of course violence towards any person is bad. And women experience domestic violence way more than men. Women experience sexual assault more often then men. However, men experience more general violence and are the victims of homicide twice as often as women. How many times do you see the outrage of men being murdered. Next to none.
