I don't think this article is going to convince any white person who is truly poor of any privilege relative to a rich or even middle class black person. 111 Black people in the U.S. were shot to death this year as of Sept 2021

While these deaths are tragic, based on the number of Black people in the U.S. (41 million). The chances of dying from being shot by police are low.
If you live in poverty, there is an almost certainty that you
1. Don't have access to regular health care.
2. You live in an area where criminal activity is more prevalent
3. You won't have enough to eat
4. You won't get the same quality of education.
5. You will suffer from low self esteem
6. You will suffer from anxiety caused by social insecurity.
Many poor white people just aren't high enough on the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to be able to fathom the concept of White privilege relative to a Black person with a higher economic status. Instead, maybe you could try convincing them of their privilege relative to poor Black people?
