I don't think cleaning the bathroom once in a while is enough. If your wife/girlfriend works, you should strive to match their efforts on domestic labor. Personally? I never clean the bathroom. I don't cook very often either. I do dishes, do laundry, mow the lawn, vacuum, mop the kitchen...etc. I could clean the bathroom, though. I could cook more often. It's just not where I focus my efforts.
