I don't need to switch fast, I just like having multiple monitors so that I can read or test on one monitor and code on the other. If I have to make a hard switch then I may forget the name of class or method or the details of logic that I'm implementing and I'll have to go back and look again. It's a crutch, but then again we use lots crutches, no?
