I agree with you and Daniel both. To your point, I think Inaros was one dimensional (cartoonish). Effective leaders, even if they are evil, appear to their followers as beneficent. The evil of effective leaders usually only becomes obvious to their follower after it's too late. On the other hand, to Daniel's point, many revolutions that have been characterized by a single strong and charismatic leader and that leader was been corrupted by power.
