I agree with this statement, however it seems like the rest of this article is an attempt at the opposite: deflecting the abuse and injustice that Johnny has endured in favor of the following statements.

1. Women still endure abuse more frequently.

2. Most women don't falsely accuse men, so we should believe them.

Both of them are very similar to 'Not all men', no?
