I agree Feminism isn't about man-hate (or shouldn't be). Feminists however are not a monolith and there are feminists that hate men, and they do so while using Feminism as their justification. Such women have claimed that misandry is just a response to misogyny. For example:

"Misandry exists only as a reaction to misogyny, which is at the root of systemic violence." -- Pauline Harmange in I Hate Men

When asked about her statement she explains:

"I am married to a man, who is great and really supports my writing. But in general I mistrust men I don’t know"

This is misandry because it's men in general. This is deliberate and, sadly, understandable, given broad existence of violence towards women. However, I keep seeing statements that that claim that feminists don't hate men. There are feminists that do and I'm not imagining it. I don't think it's funny.
