Thanks for acknowledging that, it means a great deal to me. I agree that there are examples of getting rid of injustices towards women indirectly help men. Your example, however, doesn't inspire hope. It would have been better if the Church had just recognized that the practice mutilating young men was unacceptable. Instead, if what you are saying is true, they decided it was no longer necessary after women were allowed to participate in the choir. When will we decide, as a society, that protecting men is a worthwhile endeavor on it's own?
