Have they? Anti-male sentiments seem as prevalent as ever. In fact, Mark Greene actually justifies misandry as "not as bad as misogyny" in an article he wrote, right here on Medium. I think he used system and structural power as a basis for this. Regardless if you think he's right or wrong, it's dismissive about the harm of misandry. I just don't think that's an argument that someone who is anti-misandry would make.

I almost never hear male feminists ever actually advocate for men. I never hear them talk about the sentencing gap men suffer in our criminal justice system. I never hear male feminists talk about the disparity in homelessness between men and women. I do hear male feminists talk about how men are considered the second parent, but only in how it affects women negatively, not men. If I do hear male feminists talk, it's almost always chiding us to "be better". We should all strive to be better. If that is our only message to men, is that really advocacy?
