God did I step in it. Geez. None if this is relevant to the article! You're using the article so you can stand on a freaking soapbox and go on about the patriarchy when there's nothing in the article that calls for it. The article is about women and their standards on dating apps. It's how they pass up online profiles on guys that seem pretty average. Based on the context, the article is talking about men that women never give a chance to. How in hell did we end up talking about divorce statistics? We could go on arguing back and forth for a millenia on whether we agree on whether you're man bashing or not, but it doesn't matter: it's off topic

You’re my age and you’re married. Chances are you’ve been married for 20 years or more. You’re knowledge of dating comes vicariously from stories on Medium that you’ve personally “curated”. It’s definitively confirmation bias.

Regardless, if you make broad statements about men stating that they typically have low emotional intelligence, don't shower and think women are pussy dispensers: THAT IS MAN BASHING! You would need to get a hammer and find a man and hit him on the head with it to be more man bashing. Look at your original post, think about the context of the article. If you can’t see how it was man bashing, we have nothing left to discuss.
