Gender equality in society is an ideal, a goal that I believe we should work towards (like Freedom, Justice and Fairness). Men can come up with justifications on why they should be elevated above women (we're stronger!) and women can come up with justifications on why they should be elevated above men (we give birth!). Those justifications do not deter me in my belief that society should hold each gender with the same regard. War does not debunk Feminism.
