First of all, great article. I typically highlight and respond to parts of the articles that I read that I may have an different view or even disagree with. It doesn't mean I disagree with the whole article.
I've worked with women most of my career. My mentor (not a mentor, my primary mentor) in my career is a woman.
This paragraph implies that companies should have separate rules for women or have rules that are applied differently for women. I don't think it's necessarily any worse to put women under a stressful work schedule than it is for men.
