Google women's safety and you'll find article after article about keeping women safe from voilence. Google men's safety and you'll see a bunch of ads for work boots. Yet 80% of homicide victims are men world wide. Explain to me how violence towards women is normalized, and not for men.

Saying, "Violence toward women is a real problem" without qualification is the same as saying "Violence toward men doesn't matter" when men suffer from violent crime more frequently.
