Companies that hire junior developers have mature process. If you’re a junior developer, it will be hard for you to get a job at a startup. To be fair, early career developers are usually an investment. In the short run they’re not worth what you pay them, no disrespect intended. However, a good junior developer can start to break even and start making you money in 6 months if you have the time to mentor them. Startups don’t have that luxury.
