Can you give me an example of what that would look like? I really am trying to understand here.
Thank you for that. Feel by the one of your responses that you are being sincere.
For one, while the Democrats promised more access to health care for women, men are the ones that really need it (from my point of view). According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), men lead in the death rates for most of the top causes of death, such as heart disease, cancer, unintentional injuries, chronic lower respiratory diseases, stroke, diabetes, and suicide. Women have higher mortality rates in some categories, such as Alzheimer’s disease, but overall, men are more likely to die earlier from the major causes of death. We have federal offices with the goal of improving health outcomes for women, but not for men. It would be nice to see come kind of policy around men's health, but we only see policy from the Democrats on women's health.
Additionally, there is a growing trend where men in the U.S. are falling behind women in educational attainment. Over the past few decades, women have been enrolling in and graduating from colleges and universities at higher rates than men. This shift has led to more women earning bachelor's degrees and advancing to graduate studies compared to their male counterparts. Again, we have offices that look to improve educational outcomes for women, but none for men. It would be nice to see come kind of policy around men's education, but we only see policy from the Democrats on women's education.
Men get 60% longer sentences for the same crime., are the majority of the homeless, incarcerated and are more likely die from suicide or from drug over dose. When women suffer more from something, the Democrats policies to address it. Why can't they do the same for men?
I would think that small business credit (plus a program for first time home buyers) would have been music to the ears of a young man who wanted to start some kind of business -- painting? trucking? towing? In your mind, did such a program need to exclude women?
To be honest, there are things, like you have mentioned, that the Democrats proposed that would help men proportionally than women, even if it's not explicit. However, the Democrats won't campaign targeting men on those things because there's a cultural reluctance to take recognition of anything that helps men more than women. All of the Ads targeting men that I saw was asking them to vote for Kamala in support of women. That was my impression. It felt like, men voting for Kamala out of self interest was somehow selfish. It made me feel ignored.
