Back when I was single, I had a woman that I started dating tell me she wasn't ready for sex and she wasn't sure when she would be. She told me why and I respected her decision. I told her that I liked her, but I wasn't willing to wait. I wanted to be sexually active. I'm a monogomous person, so that meant I wouldn't be dating her and I would be seeking companionship elsewhere. She said she totally understood.
