Are sure it's shame? I think you're just disappointed that sex in itself isn't all that and you're probably feeling a little foolish. Something you probably already knew: finding fulfillment in life isn't that easy. Someone once told me, happiness and pleasure are not the same thing. You can't find happiness simply be seeking pleasure.
