All Emily doing is flipping the script. She doesn't seem interested in genuine gender equality. She's competing with him and taunting him because she's winning. Why else would she characterize her husband as weak and fragile? She might do something to help him confront the change in the power dynamic. Instead she seeks to dominate him. "Bragging about your wife's credit card limit isn't much of a penis enhancement, I suppose" Seems pretty hateful to me. Why do we have to emasculate men when seeking gender equality? Why would he celebrate his wife's success when she's beating him over the head with it?
It's become a game where the loser has to do household chores. And in this case the household chores have become the symbol of his failures. I totally get that the person that puts in less hours should spend more time doing domestic work. However, one partner simply makes more money and works the same number of hours, then they should share the same domestic responsibility. Regardless partners should work together and rest together.
