Agree, I believe the words, "she got pregnant" does not reflect responsibility on anyone. I wasn't trying to convey responsibility one way or the other with that phrase. You're being a bit pedantic, no? The words, "I got her pregnant" makes it sound like I did something to her. It was a consensual act. Now, the fact that she had an abortion was not my choice, it was hers. However, I supported her in her decision. I helped pay for the abortion and I drove her to the abortion clinic and drove her home. I stayed with her to make sure she was ok. I was in constant contact with her to make sure she was ok over the next month. I made damned sure it didn't happen again by wearing a condom. So how exactly was I shirking my responsibilies?
