After reading your post, I started to think about that song by the Eagles, Wasted Time. Have you considered that getting divorced didn't necessarily mean that your marriage was a failure? Maybe it just ran it's course. While you may have matched at one time, could it be possible that growing apart and eventually separating was inevitable. Have you been able to look back on your marraige and see the good and the bad? IOW, maybe it wasn't all just wasted time? It's possible that you might find a perfect match today only for it all to end later. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't have been with that person at all.
